Information for new pilots

At V-Bird Virtual Airline you will be warmly greeted by a group of Flight Sim lovers who the most out of their hobby and want to have a lot of fun. To join V-Bird Virtual Airline you particularly need to have a interest  in the world of aviation and / or flight simulation. Invest in time to make at least one (1) trip per month and have the desire to have fun and grow as a virtual pilot. We fly for fun, log our hours and we try to get real as it gets. We will make your flying experience as realistic as possible. We have transparent rules and there are opportunities with us to grow as a pilot.

V-Bird Virtual Airline is intended for entertainment and education of its members. With the emphasis on entertainment means that V-Bird Virtual Airline will not try to intimidate people with strict real-world airline procedures. The routes which are prepared you are not obligate to fly. Our goal is to ensure that you have fun and grow as a pilot. Do not expect all kinds of checks or complicated flight report data. Our intention is to let you fly,  to have fun and get as much  satisfaction out of it as you want.

The only thing we ask you if you decide to join is that:

1. 1. Log your hours.
2. 2. Fly at least 1 flight per month (with a minimum of 30 minutes).
3. 3. Visit our forum and get involved! Feel free to give suggestions and / or feedback. We can only grow with input from our members.

Crew status notification:

1. 1. Anyone who joins  V-Bird Virtual Airline starts as a Second Flight Officer until 15 flight hours logged.
2. 2. When you transfer hours,  these will be added to your total after you've logged the 16th hour. Your grade will be adjusted to the total of hours.
3. 3. If you do not have transfer hours you will get promoted in line with our range structure

First flight

Your first flight at V-Bird Virtual Airline should be done within 14 days after you are accepted. If you have problems using our system, E-mail us directly so we can help you as soon as possible. If you do not contact us  within 14 days, our system will remove you from our database.
