As Virtual Aviation is a hobby and real world commitments do not always allow you to take part every day of the year. V-Bird Virtual Airline has a leave policy that allows pilots wishing to take a break from VBV may do so. The following informs you of how to place yourself on leave.
Placing yourself:
- You must send an email to Cor de Bruin, VBV's CEO (you may do this from the contact us area of the website).
- Please include your name and VBV Pilot ID.
- Indicate how long of a leave you are requesting.
- Enjoy your leave!
Leave information You are entitled to 3 months of leave per calendar year. Further extentions may be granted by the CEO on a case-by-case basis.
Returning from Leave Simply send send the CEO an email to indicate that you would like to placed on active status again.
If the 3 months are exceeded without correspondence from the member, the Inactivity rule will then apply.
