Leave Policy

 

As Virtual Aviation is a hobby and real world commitments do not always allow you to take part every day of the year.
V-Bird Virtual Airline has a leave policy that allows pilots wishing to take a break from VBV may do so.
The following informs you of how to place yourself on leave.

Placing yourself:

  1. You must send an email to Cor de Bruin, VBV's CEO (you may do this from the contact us area of the website).
  2. Please include your name and VBV Pilot ID.
  3. Indicate how long of a leave you are requesting.
  4. Enjoy your leave!

Leave information
You are entitled to 3 months of leave per calendar year. Further extentions may be granted by the CEO on a case-by-case basis.

Returning from Leave
Simply send send the CEO an email to indicate that you would like to placed on active status again.

If the 3 months are exceeded without correspondence from the member, the Inactivity rule will then apply.
