Each year in November an international Flight Simulation is being held in the Aviodrome at the airport in Lelystad the Netherlands.The leading man in this all is Frans Broekhuysen who makes sure that this yearly event is running smootly.
Since 2004 V-Bird Virtual Airline is present at this event. In 2004 was this together whith Dutch Bird VA, in 2005 together with at that time a new Online network named GlobalSim and since 2006 we are doing it single.
Every year we are watching people take their first steps in this exiting hobby, try to answer a lot of questions and ofcourse meeting old friends and our own pilots. It is always nice to see the face behind the voice on teamspeak or behind the E-mails.
In 2006 Sander Parijs started to make promotion movies for V-Bird Virtual Airline special for the FS-Weekend. The latest one you can see at the frontpage but we also wanted to show the older ones because they are very well made.
The FS-weekend 2008 was Sanders last FS-weekend as he starts his pilot training in Oxford the UK in January 2009. He will be missed as a very value member of this "family" and we hope to sit one day in a plane where he is captain of.
